Converging Real and Virtual: Embodied Intelligence-Driven Immersive VR Biofeedback for Brain Health Modulation
IEEE Transactions on Computational Social Systems
摘要/Abstract
This topic introduces a pioneering framework for brain health intervention that integrates real-time physiological sensing with immersive virtual environments. The embodied intelligence-driven approach transforms abstract cognitive intentions into perceivable and interactive virtual experiences, facilitating adaptive regulation of emotional and cognitive states. By combining dynamic feedback loops, multimodal biosignal integration, and immersive VR design, this paradigm presents promising possibilities for supporting mental health, particularly in addressing conditions such as anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, and depression. Drawing on both Eastern philosophical traditions of mind–body unity and Western theories of embodied cognition, this framework represents a transformative step toward real time, personalized, and embodied digital therapeutics.
